A game of paper, scissors, stone and double bluff played between two teams with giant inflatables. Get your team inflatables across the city without being spotted and challenged by your opponents.

Premiered at The Hide and Seek Weekender 2009 on London's South Bank, Elephant has two teams taking it in turns to manoeuvre their 3 giant inflatables from base to base around the city. The opposing team attempts to intercept the running team with their inflatables. If they can match colour, the running team is out. If not the running team gets a point. When the running team gets all their inflatables around the bases successfully, or if the fielding team gets them all out, the two teams swop roles.

The game is managed across the urban playing field with game Shouts, the communication channel of MSGE (Mobile Social Game Engine). This web based platform allows easy set up and configuration of games, and manages all game Shouts. With this channel we connect players in a mini social network. For the duration of the game players can use it to communicate with their team mates, or to bluff the opposing team. And once the game is over, players can hook up with each other using 3rd party social networks (facebook, Twitter, Linkedin) to make more lasting friendships.
