Tweeture to destroy San Francisco

Heading Out to Come Out & Play SF.

The deluded, twitter monster robot is off to San Francisco. First launched earlier this year at SXSWi, we're taking Tweeture back across the pond for another outing at Come Out and Play Weekend 2010 22nd & 24th October.

Commissioned by the Arts Council England, Tweeture is a carry-around monster that likes to meet new people. He tweets his whereabouts and how he is being treated by those who pick him up, allowing his new friends to accrue friendship points if they take good care of him.

Come Out & Play SF is a new off-shoot of the legendary Come Out & Play festival, held in New York each year. Tweeture is going to love the West Coast crowd (he thinks he can eat them but we're sure he'll get over the disappointment), but we are also in planning for igfest 4, to be held next May and we are on the look out for new games. igfest 4 will be the biggest yet, with a range of public and commercial partners and an extensive line-up of the best games from around the world. As part of the curation for igfest 4, igfest creative director Simon Johnson will be using his time at Come Out and Play to meet leading games designers and to search out new and innovative games.
